Julien BRUNETAUD - Cocktail, Blues and Boogie

Here the second album of Julien Brunetaud. On the 12 titles which constitute this album, only 4 are original compositions of this young French pianist. The others are from pianists such as Amos Milburn, Roosevelt Sykes or Otis Spann. Very eclectic, this album passes from impetuous boogies to slow blues , also visiting the stride piano of Fats Waller with "Honeysnuckle Rose". Surrounded by Antony Stelmaszack on guitar and Thibaut Chopin on double bass, Julien proposes us once again, an enthralling music. A very good acquisition!
