Chris CONZ - Boogie Woogie BreakUp

Here is the very first CD of the young Swiss pianist Chris CONZ (he is hardly 20 years old!) Discovered by the pianist Silvan ZINGG (Swiss also!) this young miracle of the piano boogie has already given evidence during numerous festivals. His first album is a true pleasure (although a little bit short!). Ten titles which compose it are for the most part of his composition. Except three fragments, one by Pete Johnson ( Holler Stomp), one by Albert Ammons ( Suitcase Blues) and one by Meade Lux Lewis ( Honky Tonk Train Blues). He is accompanied by Mario Von Holten on drums. A very good performance!
