The Boogie Woogie Company - Let the Good Times Roll

The Boogie Woogie Company is probably the music band which started the “Boogie Woogie Revival” in Germany. Its biography is on line, here is its last album which celebrates 40 years of existence. This album is recorded in half in 2003 and in half in the 70’s. It’s a very good illustration of the Boogie Woogie Company style. With piano, guitar, bass and drums, this band provides a music between jazz, blues, boogie and rock’n’roll. According to the piano, the Ali CLAUDI’s guitar brings a very nice swing style to this boogie band. Among the 12 titles of this CD, you will find very nice versions of « Got my mojo working », « Sweet Georgia Brown », « Johnny B. Goode », « Honky tonk train blues - special » or « Lady be good ». A relatively eclectic repertory, but interpreted with much originality.
